In the run-up to the release of my new book “Good Pussy Bad Pussy in Captivity” on June 26th, you might want to read (or re-read) the first book “Good Pussy Bad Pussy – Rachel’s Tale” just to warm up and get your juices flowing!

Lots of people are loving “Good Pussy Bad Pussy – Rachel’s Tale”, which editor and publisher Guy Hogan of the Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette says is “a perfect example of sex as art and entertainment”. And then he adds the book is “a must read for all who appreciate the mysteries of sexuality and the human condition”.

In my new book, “Good Pussy Bad Pussy in Captivity”, the beautiful and naïve Rachel is once again challenged because just when she thinks she can settle down with the man of her dreams, life takes a sudden, dramatic turn. Then in the flash of the eye, Rachel finds herself getting sucked into a web of dangerous deceit and sexual intrigue.

Good Pussy Bad Pussy in Captivity cover

From the House of Sin on Cap Ferrat to an isolated Buddhist monastery in the mountains of upstate New York, Rachel is once again on the battle field of our times, both sexually and emotionally. Then, in a blinding flash of insight that lays bare the haunted alleyways of her soul, Rachel realizes that things are not what they seem to be. Will she find her way out of captivity or will she remain in the shackles of the old world order?

In the course of the book, Rachel faces many dilemmas and difficult questions and must ask herself, what is she really experiencing? Is it love or abuse? Is it liberation or bondage? Is she really free or not? And who is making these choices for her? How much of all that happens to her is based on social programming and negative social norms about sex?

So that’s me – Amy Aimee, which I’ve shortened to A. Aimee.

And here’s my question: How would it be to be unabashedly lovely and loving? How would it be?

How would it be to be unequivocally and amazingly lovely and loving? To just amp it up and pull all the stops out? And be that amazing something you know you already are? And not to be half-assed about it but to really let it out and let it fly. You know, your own natural, uninhibited goodness. Your own uncensored, spontaneous womanhood! Your unlimited potential for radiance and loveliness…

It makes you blush just to think about it, doesn’t it? You without all your inhibitions. You without all your insecurities. You without being ground down by everyone’s expectations including your own. Just you – allowing you, allowing yourself, to be in contact with, to feel and actually live the glorious power/divinity/beauty that’s inside you.

We’re on shaky ground here aren’t we?

And well yes, that’s my project.

To explore that, in life – and on paper.

My book “Good Pussy Bad Pussy” is an on-paper attempt to explore that… an on-paper expression of that. What does she – Rachel/my heroine and alter-ego – look like and feel like and act like when she’s coming from that space? How does it play out when you’re not sure about much but you feel the power is there… the intoxication… the drive… the impulse? I find it’s an intriguing idea. And yes, quite intoxicating. Whenever I think about it, I just get sucked into it. Drawn in. Feeling heady. Feeling high. Feeling well horny, the life juices flowing in me! Ambitious and absurd as it may seem/sound.

I don’t know why I’m inspired to do this, I just am. If you think it’s intriguing too, you might enjoy my book “Good Pussy Bad Pussy – Rachel’s Tale”.

Interestingly, since I finished the book, my heroine, Rachel, simply wouldn’t let me go so I had to write another book about her, which is entitled “Good Pussy Bad Pussy in Captivity”. This new book is going to be released by my publisher, Bedroom Books, on June 25, 2015.

A look at the themes in “Good Pussy Bad Pussy – Rachel’s Tale”

Do you know the story of the Chinese farmer whose horse runs away? It goes like this:

When the farmer’s neighbor came to console him the farmer said, ‘Who knows what’s good or bad?’

When his horse returned the next day with a herd of horses following her, the foolish neighbor came to congratulate him on his good fortune.

‘Who knows what’s good or bad?’ said the farmer.

Then, when the farmer’s son broke his leg trying to ride one of the new horses, the foolish neighbor came to console him again.

‘Who knows what’s good or bad?’ said the farmer.

When the army passed through, conscripting men for the war, they passed over the farmer’s son because of his broken leg. When the foolish man came to congratulate the farmer that his son would be spared, again the farmer said, ‘Who knows what’s good or bad?’”

And so on!

And that’s pretty much like my book “Good Pussy Bad Pussy”. Who knows what’s good or bad?

In the book, the main character, Rachel, runs away from an unhappy marriage and discovers and experiences great sexual release in ways that surprise, delight and shock her – but which are not always socially acceptable. Hence the title of the book – Good Pussy Bad Pussy.

So yes… in this book, I wanted to explore how it would be… not to be bound by our social norms and the traditional programming of men and women in terms of who we are and what we’re allowed to do sexually.

Once I started to consider the matter, I found out that it’s a veritable zoo. So the book asks many questions. Questions like – what is Rachel, the heroine of the book, really experiencing? Is it love or abuse? Is it liberation or bondage? Is she really free or not? And who is making these choices for her? How much of all that happens to her in the book is based on social programming and negative social norms about sex? These are some of the questions the book poses through the dilemmas Rachel faces.

Once I let Rachel loose, she took on a life of her own. So I hope you’ll enjoy her ride/read as much as I have. In fact, exploring sex and all these dilemmas with Rachel was so exhilarating that she just kept on going once the book ended. So another Good Pussy Bad Pussy book was born. This new book, entitled “Good Pussy Bad Pussy in Captivity”, will be released by my publisher Bedroom Books in June.

Here’s what reviewer TM Adams had to say about “Good Pussy Bad Pussy” on her blog For the Passion of Romance:

I’m always a little skeptical whenever I am to review an Erotica title and the same could certainly be said about Good Pussy Bad Pussy.

When I first started reading it I wasn’t sure that I would like it the book by the time that I finished it. Like with most Erotica titles it is important to keep an open mind not just as a reviewer but as a reader as well. By the time I finished the book I overly enjoyed it and was pleasantly surprised by the impressive writing flow of author Amy Aimee.

The message of the novel may not be reflected within the title itself but are in fact deeply present throughout the pages. The message is not something that society would tend to agree with nor would the idea be applauded had it not be a novel, but the message is something that we all are guilty of thinking about at least once in our lives and Rachel, the heroine is of no difference.

I wasn’t sure that upon meeting Rachel I was going to like her character. Rachel after all is a woman that has recently left her husband and her child behind in search of freedom, of life. I may not necessary agree with the decisions that Rachel made but the fact that she was brave enough to take such a plunge cannot be overlooked.

Within Rachel’s travels and her many lovers she soon discovers that life and love is not a matter of black and white. The standards set forth by an overage society matter little and it is the importance of who an individual’s inner soul truly is that truly matters. What I liked about most of the lovers that Rachel had was the fact that they all taught Rachel something about love and about life in the time that she spent with them.

This novel is a little deeper than most Erotica novels that I have read and I was quite pleased with the outcome. I really enjoyed how Aimee was able to set apart her own novel from that of the traits of typical Erotica novels. The character of Rachel is written with such depth that readers will laugh, cry and envy Rachel by the time that the book is finished.

Good Pussy Bad Pussy is not recommended for those that are not willing to keep open mind when reading novels. It is intended to be different and that is exactly what drew me into reviewing the title. The sensual scenes are Erotica though well written and I don’t think that any reader will be overly offended by the sexual content. Whether you are a reader with an open mind or perhaps those that tend to follow the aging standards one thing remains and that is the message of author Amy Aimee’s novel and I am greatly looking forward to reading more from Aimee in the future!

Lisa Lawson writes:

“This book will captivate you intoxicate you and leave you wanting more!

Wow! Once you start reading this story you won’t want to put it down. I was totally captured by the main character’s struggle and fight with herself and her emotions.

I loved the way the writer broke the story down in sections. Made it a little easier to put it down but also it was like I could jump into that scenario so easily, as a kind of someone looking in at the different situations that evolved.

In terms of erotica it had a great level and an equal balance of hot action but the story backed it up perfectly.

Initially I felt no sympathy with the main character but about half way through I was nearly crying.

This is an amazing bedtime read. It will truly captivate you.”

4 Star Review on Authors Alliance – by Rachael Orman

Rachael writes: The name of this book immediately made me say OOOOh I want to read that. I’m always in for a good steamy book. The synopsis sounded amazing too. But as I started reading, I realized this isn’t your typical naughty book. It has dark, tear jerking moments as we follow Rachel through her life.

It sucked me in and I just kept reading!

Good Pussy Bad Pussy review by Maplewolff (author John McGuin)

John writes:
An engaging tale about an intelligent young lady called Rachel, leaving the comfort of a humdrum marriage to explore pastures new. She soon finds that the new life has its ups and downs, both in the bedroom and the outside world.

As the title suggests, her decisions are often driven by desire. She discovers that love isn’t a black and white, take it or leave it situation. Satisfaction, both mental and physical can be found in unpredictable ways and places.

The heroine is a likeable girl who at times struggles to deal with the repercussions of her decisions. The gravity of her situation is explored well in the final few chapters and is an excellent page turner, with an unexpected finale.

Those seeking a rude read will enjoy the nicely written sensual scenes that occur frequently throughout the novel, sometimes alluringly descriptive, other times as simple as `we made love’. Never repetitive and definitely not pulp porn, Good Pussy Bad Pussy is a classily written erotic book. I look forward to more from this author. Recommended.”

Sylvia Storm reviews Good Pussy Bad Pussy on http://ereaderotica.com/?p=2600

Sylvia writes:

“Today we dive into a smartly told tale of love, lust, betrayal, and a woman’s best efforts to find meaning in her life. Either that, or our heroine’s life can best be described as an erotic train wreck of massive proportions. Our book today hits all the right notes for high drama and erotic suspense with Good Pussy Bad Pussy: Rachel’s Tale. I’ll have to admit this is a smartly named book, and likely pushed the boundaries for Amazon and other stores. Good. Without boundaries pushed, much of classic literature would not exist. Keep pushing, writers.

A train wreck? I hope that got your attention, because our heroine’s life is so thoroughly messed up I loved it. Our authoress even started us out with a huge OMGWTF moment, which I hated her for as an editor, but absolutely loved her for as a reader. We start the book with our heroine, and she has already left her husband and child for another man (or other men, as it seems). Then, our authoress never tells us why. Well, not right away. We have to read on a little to find out why, and bam, I am instantly hooked. Yes, an editor who doesn’t understand your work would likely tell you, “You need to explain that right away!” As a reader, I loved sitting there wondering what the heck was going on, how could she leave her family, and what sort of cold-hearted bitch this is.

We find out later, be patient, reader. Yes, it had me turning pages, and that’s a good thing. She’s not a cold-hearted bitch after all, and she has her reasons I shall not spoil. Her life is still a mess though, and I enjoyed being taken through it page after page. The book feels like that ‘Chapter 1′ and a couple others have been removed, and the whole book sings and has a great flow because of it. I like the in-media-res style, and here it is wonderfully done. Even the chapters where she meets the new hunk is gone, and we start with that, “I’ve done something terrible!” moment. It’s brave, wonderfully done, and it hooks me in and grabs my interest right from the start.

Switching gears, the cover is simply nice. A black cover, and a rose. Elegant, simple, and we don’t need a thong. Nice text work as well. I like the ‘good pussy bad pussy’ theme too, and this is brought up in the book several times. There is a meaning in here where this certain part of her body controls her actions, for better or worse, and how this all works out in her life. For men, I suppose this might be better said as ‘bad cock worse cock’ but I digress. Fun and meaningful title, simple to the point cover, and what’s not to love?

Text quality is good, and the book had that immediate storytelling style that I like so much. This is a full-length novel too, and it took me the better part of a day to finish. Despite the length, the book moved, didn’t dwell on the unimportant parts, and captured the conflicts well. I liked the dialog too, it was smartly written.

Heat-level is good, there were some great examples of ‘bad pussy’ winning the fight, and her giving into her passions. There was a long section at the end where I wanted some more ‘bad pussy’, but I’m happy ‘good pussy’ won. I kept interested despite the lack of ‘bad pussy’ though, the story and characters hooked me in and kept me reading to the end. I won’t reveal which pussy ultimately won though, you’ll need to read the book for that.

Recommended. This is intelligent erotica with a woman dealing with the consequences of her choices. The start is fun, fast, and hooked me in. The characters were great, and also the details on the locations were very nicely done. There is some delicious background in here as well, with far-flung places across Europe and the world we visit. This isn’t purely romance as well, this is exploring a woman’s passions and choices, so this is a great story for the erotica genre. Another great book for the new year, and one you should check out.”

Thanks Sylvia for the thumbs up! You can read the whole review here: http://ereaderotica.com/?p=2600
